Explosive is a dangerous and hazardous goods, so for the secure and appropriate purpose the explosive’s use is needed a specific supervision and control.  

Indonesian Police published The Head of Indonesian Police Department Regulation Number 2 in 2008 concerning to The Supervision, Control and Security of Commercial Explosive. It is stated in the regulation about the detail management handling of explosive including its permits requirement.

Also in the regulation stated about manufacturer, distributor and end user.

Manufacturer is the legal company that already has the government permit to produce the commercial explosive.

Distributor is the legal company that already has the government permit to procure, supply, and distribute the commercial explosive.

Meanwhile, the end user is the legal company not only to run the government or private company’s project but also to be responsible directly as the explosive user.

PT DAHANA (Persero) is manufacturer and distributor of commercial explosive that has the government permit including Indonesia Police Department permit.
