Telkom Cooperation Build Communication Network of Energetic Materials Center

PT Dahana (Persero) and PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk. signed an extension cooperative service of TELKOMSolution to support the performance of explosives SOE headquartered in Tasikmalaya. This is in line with regional development of Energetic Materials Center (EMC) Dahana property located in Subang regency, West Java, as a place of production, research, and development of an integrated explosives.

The signing ceremony was conducted by the President Director of PT Dahana Tanto Dirgantoro and Director of Enterprise & Wholesale of PT Telkom Arief Yahya in Sinergi BUMN event on March 30, 2011 housed in the Ministry of State Owned Enterprises, Jakarta. On that occasion was also attended by SOE Minister Mustafa Abubakar and SOE Ministry Officials witnessed the signing ceremony of cooperation between the SOEs.

According to President Director of PT Dahana Tanto Dirgantoro, "Dahana cooperation with PT Telkom has been started since 2006 and now developed into synergies, especially in supporting the telecommunications infrastructure in Subang EMC." Estate development projects Energetic Materials Center (EMC) held by PT PP Tbk., beginning on the date 10-10-2010 and is marked by laying the first stone by the Secretary of Defense on December 4, 2010, is targeted to be completed by the end of 2011.

Cooperation Dahana - Telkom is in the form of Service TELKOMSolution such as data network services from Telkom, which combines a special data network (private) and general (public) into a closed data network company. Types of products in TELKOMSolution Services include VPN IP, ASTINet and VSAT.

Overall the service applied for Dahana office in Tasikmalaya, Jakarta, Subang and the project site in Batulicin, South Kalimantan. The service is very helpful to Dahana in the smooth flow of information, electronic communications both voice and data (SAP system and Internet connection) with external and internal party, to support the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes in order to follow developments and rapid changes while maintaining security system data itself and improve the mobility of labor.

In addition to the above-mentioned cooperation, Dahana also cooperate in terms of procurement of hardware (h/w) and software (s/w) supporting IT systems as a whole.

Still according Tanto Dirgantoro, the next plan is the construction / installation of integrated CCTV on site project. "Site project of the work will include Site Melak, Batulicin, Karimun, Turen and Bontang," added Tanto Dirgantoro.
