PT Dahana Achieved First Rank on Anugerah Cinta Karya Bangsa
(Jakarta) January 5, 2012: PT Dahana once again, was having re-award winning on Anugerah Cinta Karya Bangsa, that held by the government of Indonesia which given directly by the President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the State Palace on Thursday, January 5, 2012.
On that occasion, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono handed the award of government in industry to 69 individuals and companies deemed to have been accomplished in developing and industrial development.
According to President Director of PT Dahana (Persero) Tanto Dirgantoro, that this award has proven that the management of PT Dahana is committed to promoting local products, especially to support the independence of the national industry.
"Surely this is not easy, it takes hard work and government support, but this won’t be the last that we do, we will continue to work and all levels of Indonesia will be more able to love and put the domestic national product known, regionally,", Tanto stated.
This industry award is divided into 6 categories, namely Upakarti Award, Technology Pioneer Award, Best Design Award Indonesia, Creative Prima Quality Award, the Green Industry Award, and Anugerah Cinta Karya Bangsa. President Yudhoyono handed the award in person, in which recipient is the Minister of Industry MS Hidayat, himself.
Since 2003, verification TKD performance has been conducted against some of the products of the company, by an independent consultant (Surveyor Indonesia) and has been reported to the Ministry of Industry. Some products are validated at the time, like Dayagel Seismic and Seismic Detonators.
"Then, in February 2006, they were included in the Appreciation of Domestic (ADP) Product List
Issue 6 of 2006 with a 3-star rankings," said Asep Maskandar, Corporate Secretary. 
In 2007 and 2008, there has been an assesment on Weight Benefits Company Assessment (BMP), and also on the ability of producers of goods and services in the country towards a periodic study that done by an independent consultant. In this period, there has been a process of verification of product suppliers to be able to do a "self assessment", also.
To control the use of NOP carried out periodically (quarterly) in the Management Review Meeting, the policy on the increased use of domestic products contained in the Procurement Policy and/or Services. This achievement is the second time for Dahana that has a huge value as a motivation to keep creating for the country.
