Minister of Research and Technology visited Energetic Materials Center

Subang, January 20, 2012 - Minister of Research and Technology, Gusti Muhammad Hatta visited Energetic Materials Center (EMC) DAHANA PT (Persero) in Subang, West Java.

The working visit on Friday, January 20, 2012 was conducted in order to review the EMC project, attended the signing of the Cooperation Agreement between the PT DAHANA with LAPAN DAHANA with BPPT, delivery of Greenship certificate CAMPUS DAHANA from GBCI and inaugurated Al Akhdar Mosque, that located within PT DAHANA residence.

MoU signing ceremony between PT DAHANA with LAPAN and cooperation agreement with PT DAHANA BPPT was conducted in the Central Management Office (CAMPUS) PT DAHANA. The invitation to attend them from the Ministry RISTEK, SOEs, KEMHAN, BPPT, LAPAN, BAPPENAS, PT PP, BNI, MUSPIDA District. Subang, and local Muspika.

Cooperation Agreement that signed by the President Director of PT DAHANA, Tanto Dirgantoro and LAPAN Chief, Bambang S. Tejasukmana included research, development, engineering, information technology utilization data and rocketry. In addition, also included the provision and utilization of facilities and research materials as well as capacity building of human resources. While cooperation with BPPT included research, development and engineering of high-energy materials and propellants; utilization of data and information of high-energy materials and propellants. Provision and utilization of facilities and research materials; Increasing the capacity of  human  resources and other fields agreed by both parties.

As is known, PT DAHANA which currently is state-owned that is engaged in energetic materials (high-energy   materials), is developing a stuffing for a rocket launcher. Development of technology that designed in the Energetic Materials Center (EMC) is located in Subang. In the area itself, has research and development centers, laboratories, training, production and warehousing of high-energy materials.

Minister of Research and Technology also witnessed the handover GREENSHIP certificate for new buildings of Central Management Office (CAMPUS) PT DAHANA. This certificate is submitted by the Green Building Council of Indonesia (GBCI) as the assessment team. Furthermore, the Minister of Research and Technology along with invitation guests, visited the plant explosives in the area of EMC.

Minister of Research and Technology Inaugurated Mosque Al Akhdar

Minister of Research and Technology Gusti Muhammad Hatta inaugurated Al Akhdar Mosque that located in DAHANA Energetic Materials Center PT. On this occasion, the Minister signed the inscription and ribbon cutting ceremony.

Al Akhdar – thas has meaning green in Arabic, is situated on a strategic at the edge of the highway Subang – Cikamurang, because it can be used both by internal pilgrims of PT DAHANA itself, or community and road users. The two stories mosque has a capacity that can accommodate a thousand people. As is known, the roadway Subang - Cikamurang is the middle path (alternative road) that connects West Java with Central Java and surrounding areas.
