DAHANA Won The First "Green Building" Certificate In Indonesia

Kantor Manajemen Pusat PT Dahana (Persero) or better known as KAMPUS DAHANA, which located in District Cibogo, Subang Regency, West Java, won the certificate "green building".

The certificate was handed over to the President Director of PT Dahana (Persero), Tanto Dirgantoro by the Green Building Council of Indonesia (GBCI) on Friday, January 20, 2012 which was witnessed by the Minister for Research and Technology, Gusti Muhammad Hatta, situated in Energetic Material Center (EMC), Subang - West Java.

DAHANA CAMPUS’ project is part of Energetic Materials Center (EMC), owned by PT DAHANA (Persero). Located on nearly 600 acres of land, as a center of research and development, production and warehousing of high-energy materials, the most complete in ASEAN, both for commercial and defense needs.

In his speech, Director of Technology and Rating of GBCI, Rana Yusuf Nasir said that the achievement for Dahana is the first time in Indonesia with the highest rating, by 83 points for the category of New "Green" Building. "We congratulate this greenship certificate of achievement, hopefully PT DAHANA can continue to defend it," he said.

Meanwhile, Minister of Research and Technology Gusti Muhammad Hatta also gave an appreciation to the achievement of Dahana. According to him, there is no doubt that PT DAHANA is very committed to the environment. "This is proven by the achievement, and we can obviously witness the buildings, they are all eco-friendly" his explanation was then greeted with big warm applause by the invitation guest at the Campus Dahana.
EMC development is the result of joint cooperation between PT DAHANA (Persero) with PT PP (Persero) as the contractor, as an outcome of the synergy among SOEs, in supporting by the Ministry of SOEs. PT BNI, PT Telkom, PT Binakarya and Jasindo were also involved in this project.

In the course of reaching this certification, CAMPUS DAHANA has gone through several stages which have been determined by the assessment team. On June 17 2011, CAMPUS DAHANA was officially registered to the committee. After went through a series of tests, on October 10, 2011 the committee issued a Statement Status as Registered Project. Then, on December 20 2011, the final session of assessment had been carried out and PT Management DAHANA received the certificate on January 20, 2012.
