Dahana Earned Second Place in the Cinta Karya Bangsa Award
PT Dahana (Persero) was awarded the second place in the Cinta Karya Bangsa Award 2010 for the SOE category.
This award was directly presented by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Budiono accompanied by the Minister of Industry MS Hidayat to the President Director of PT Dahana (Persero) Tanto Dirgantoro at the Vice Presidential Palace in Jakarta on last Wednesday, September 29, 2010.
The award is conferred by the Ministry of Industry through the National Team for Increased Use of Domestic Products (P3DN national team) to local or government institutions and SOEs that are institutionally committed to the use of domestically-produced goods or services.
According to the President Director of PT Dahana (Persero) Tanto Dirgantoro, the award is a proof that the management of PT Dahana is committed to promoting local products, mainly to support the independence of the national industry.
"Surely this is not easy, it requires hard work and government support, but this is not the last thing that we can do, we shall continue to work so that all levels of Indonesian society will love domestic products more, setting out regionally recognized national products, " said Tanto.
Since 2003, TKD performance verification has been conducted against some of the company's products by an independent consultant (Surveyor Indonesia) and has been reported to the Ministry of Industry. Some products were already verified at that time, e.g. dayagel seismic and seismic detonators. Subsequently, in February 2006 they were included in the Appreciation of Domestic (ADP) Product List, 6th Edition, 2006 with a rating of 3 Stars, said the Corporate Secretary Asep Maskandar.
In 2007 and 2008, the Corporate Benefit Weight Assessment (BMP) was conducted and the assessment of the capability of domestic goods and services providers was conducted for periodical research by an independent consultant. During this period, verification of the supplier products was conducted in order to conduct a "Self assessment".
Control against the use of Domestic Products is conducted periodically (quarterly) in the Management Review Meeting. Policies concerning the increasing use of domestic products are contained in the Corporate Procurement Policy.
